The Information Network Village Project aims to introduce the high-speed Internet to isolated regions such as farming, fishing and mountainous villages, and to promote information content including e-commerce so as to close the information gap in the nation and to induce balanced national development by instilling a greater sense of community and reinforcing local competitiveness.

Farming experience programs: Silkworm farming, pear and potato picking, Dr. Fish experience, and Cudrania tricuspidata (similar to mulberry) fruit picking

Main crops: Pear, rice, chili pepper, potato, sesame, beans, pumpkin, eggplant

Farm: Songchon Honggochu Village

Location: Songchon-dong

Farming experience programs: Aquatic ecosystem experience, chili pepper cultivation, and hiking on Geumseongsan Mountain

Main crops: Chili pepper, pear, water parsley, Hallabong orange, honey, Daebong persimmon, cucumber

Farm: Naju Pyeongya Village

Location: Nampyeong-eup

Farming experience programs: Strawberry picking (scheduled for early May)
