In addition to being a drama and movie filming location, the Naju Video Theme Park provides information on the founding of Goguryeo and presented various sources of entertainment.
Initially, the theme park was established to serve as an outdoor filming set for dramas and films set in the Three Kingdoms Period (Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla), and as a reproduction of a folk village from the Three Kingdoms Period. It was where “Jumong” and “The Legend” were filmed. Upon passing through the entrance, you’ll get to see a massive statue called the “The Flight of Samjogo (Three Feet Crow).” There are also hand impressions of the cast of the dramas and films shot here including Song In-gook, Han Hye-jin, Jeon Gwang-ryeol, Lee Gye-in, Jin Hee-kyung, Choi Jung-won, Jung Jin-young, Kim Jung-hwa and Oh Yoon-ah, as well as their posters on the Star Street. Inside the theme park, you can enjoy diverse activities such as shooting arrows, horseback riding, folk games and traditional craft-making.
