Among the plains in Jeollanam-do centering on the Yeongsangang river basin, the Naju Plains, near the west and south seas, provided a great location for the cultivation of major crops and horticulture, thanks to its oceanic climate. Although the peak of Deudeulsan Mountain is fairly low (169m), it is known to present spectacular scenery throughout the year, and its beautiful reflection on the crystal clear water of Jiseokgang River never fails to take people’s breaths away.
