Najuho Lake is an industrial water source that can hold up to 91.2 million tons of water. Because it is home to various species of carp, it has become a popular inland fishing site. The carp found in this lake are said to be free of parasites thanks to the dense nutmeg forest nearby, and this is why the lake receives endless streams of fishing enthusiasts every year. In the vicinity of the lake, there are Bulhoesa, Unheungsa and Unjusa temples as well as recreational forests. The Najuho Lake area is a fantastic tourist spot, offering a unique landscape created with a blend of crystal clear waters, mountains and Buddhist monuments. It is especially beautiful in spring and fall when green sprouts and colorful foliage can be observed. Surrounded by mountains, the lake contains numerous species of freshwater fish including carp, eel, flying fish and minnow, and this is why many anglers come here to fish. In the mountains, there are many wild animals such as water deer, rabbits and pheasants, and there are also many cultural assets in the area.
