Dabosa Temple is a millennium temple situated on the foothills of Geumseongsan Mountain in Naju. What’s notable about this temple is its Daeungjeon Hall.
Daeungjeon of Dabosa Temple, designated as Jeollanam-do Cultural Heritage Material No. 87, is situated right next to Jonggak, or the bell tower. Inside the Daeungjeon Hall, there are Seated Buddha Triad, hanging paintings of Amitabha Buddha, and signboards regarding Jungjong and the Dancheong of Daeungjeon from 1884. The 아미타후불탱화 Hanging Painting of Amitabha Buddha had been initially enshrined at Songgwangsa Temple before being transferred here. It was produced in 1901. 신중탱화, produced in 1884, had been enshrined at Borimsa Temple before being transferred here.
