The Samgangmun Gate was erected in front of the village entrance to honor two loyal subjects to the king, two men known for their filial piety, and four virtuous women spanning across three generations including Na Sa-chim. As for the Samgangmun Gate of the Naju Na clan, the main gate was built after the conferment of the funeral banner for Na Sa-chim in the 39th year of King Jungjong’s reign over Joseon, and the other gates were built for those demonstrating filial piety. The royal subjects, Na Deok-heon and Na Deok-myeong, received the funeral banners in the 3rd year of Jeongjo’s rule and the 3rd year of Sunjo’s rule, respectively.
