“This is a two-story red brick building erected by the Japanese during the Japanese occupation period.
It had been used as a police station until 1982 before the police station was relocated, and subsequently, it was used as a fire station. Then, on November 12, 2002, the fire station was relocated, and now it is used as an office by a civic organization. Independence activists suffered here at the hands of the Japanese during the Japanese occupation period, and a detention center and other original facilities still remain intact today.
