Geumseongjeonguirok contains records on the Donghak Peasant Revolution of 1894 written by Gyeomsan Yi Byeong-su (1855~1941), a Confucian scholar of Naju, from the perspective of the royal forces, and the records on the Righteous Army of Eulmi raised in 1895. It has high historical value as it provides deep insight into the Donghak and Righteous Army movements that occurred in Naju.
